Because my dad was away on a business trip (PC is a Vista), While he was away the whole family had their own account and the computer worked fine and everyone was able to do whatever the wanted, but then he came back and changed HIS account to Administrator and the rest to Standard Accounts.
That meant we had restrictions, which in my case i can't go and download things without approval from the Admin! Which is annoying because even though i go to the Admin account and try to downland them there, an error comes up every time!
I can download Pictures but that's about it, if i try downloading any programs, even trials i'm not able to for some reason.
i've tried reducing every account to Standard, making everyone Admin changing controls etc. but nothing's worked so far!
so any help here?
P.S i had Adobe CS4 downloaded and as soon as the accounts changed (because of my dad) it wouldn't open anymore, even when i deleted and re installed it!
I can't Download anything from the internet....?
Obviously your Dad is very sensible.Make a list of what you want to download and show the list to your dad.Remember internet users have to be careful when downloading because things such as viruses and malware could get into the pc and affect data and programs.
