I want to start a business .. but I need some advise or an opinion on copyright laws..
Would I be sued if I..
1. edit pictures of a known person taken from the internet, change shape, format, color, but still recognizable as that person, and sell its product ?
2. edit pictures of say, mountains, flowers from the internet (color, shape, format etc..) print and sell its product ? or put together pictures of people, shapes altered them completely?
I read from a post of someone that owner owns the right even if the original work is altered... what if it can't be noticed, say if i get a picture of a flower from the internet and altered it it won't be noticed since there are many pictures of flowers. did anybody get in trouble for this?
3. or if i created an art (draw, paint) famous people and created something and sold it ?

Contact the owner of the site you find the pictures on. Most requests will be granted with some type of arrangement that is easy to meet. People like to see their stuff professionally.

Yes, the original owner owns the copyright even if you alter it. You can also be sued in civil court for using the likeness of someone whithout their permission. Especially if they are famous.
