Help changing icons in Start menu?

I know where to go through the run %26gt; regedit, etc., just not what EXACTLY to put in the blank for the icon I guess.

I've tried it as C:\Documents and Settings\Joshua Stokesbary\Desktop\Serious Cat.jpg and %26quot;C:\Documents and Settings\Joshua Stokesbary\Desktop%26quot;. I even tried making the JPEG a .exe file, but it didn't work either.

Is there some other file type I should have this converted to? What EXACTLY should I have it say in the blank?

This is the icon for my Mozilla Firefox/internet, by the way. I changed the data under it so it now reads entirely %26quot;Internet%26quot; with the little thing below saying %26quot;Serious Business.%26quot; So I want Serious Cat as the icon.

you can right click on any icon go to properties then go to the customize and change icon at the bottom. You would have to point to where you have the new icon you want to change to.

Microsofts icons can only be changed by going into properties right click any open space select properties then select the desktop tab from there you can change there default icons. Beaware changing default icons will slow down your computer as it will take a few seconds for the computer to go to where the new icon is stored.
