Surely if my contract covers interent then it should also be provided what shall I do?

I have an 8900 curve so should be similar,
go to the manage connections icon,
then Service Status, then mobile network provider
then Mobile network options
go to mobile network - my preferred network list then choose your provider
mine is on network selection mode: automatic
if these directions are miles off - sorry try your provider (the peeps you are staying on contact with)
you mention wifi - this is your internet at home/work etc and will probably need a wep or wpa code
ask again on how to Connect to a wireless network

I'm part of the Vodafone Web Relations team and would like to offer some help and advice.
If you've got a BlackBerry phone you'll also need to have BlackBerry Internet Solution (BIS)added to your account to be able to use the BlackBerry browser and some of the other amazing BlackBerry features that your phone has to offer.
The BIS addition usually costs around 拢5 per month depending on which network you're with. IF you contact your provider they can make sure that it's set up correctly for you and you should be able to connect to the internet and use BlackBerry Messenger and the Application Centre in no time!
