If Big Business controls us, what should I do about it?
I'm not familiar with %26quot;zeitgeist%26quot;, but I do know about big business controlling us and our government. I was vaguely aware of the situation and became acutely cognizant after reading Naomi Klein's book %26quot;The Shock Doctrine%26quot;.
I wish there was an easy answer to your question that would solve the problem. To start with we can try and avoid the big guys by dealing with locals or regionals when ever possible. I try and avoid the chains every chance I get.
Next make a point of attending political forums for candidates in your area and raise the issue.
Write letters to newspapers and other publications.
I wish there was more I could suggest, but we are pretty much in a no win situation that won't change without many more people becoming aware of what is happening to us. Other than getting the problem aired on %26quot;American Hero%26quot; I'm not sure how the masses can become informed.

piss'em off by buying as little as you have too. fix your car instead of buying a new one. drive it until it lays down and dies. dont get into all the consumerism that were all guilty of. thats all i got.
